  1. Acknowledgement of Risks I understand that tattooing involves risks including, but not limited to: infection, scarring, allergic reactions, ink migration, fading, and complications related to existing skin or medical conditions. I freely accept all known and unknown risks.
  2. Medical Disclosure I confirm that I do not suffer from any medical or skin condition that may interfere with tattooing, including but not limited to diabetes, epilepsy, hemophilia, heart conditions, or immune disorders. I am not pregnant or nursing. I am not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

  5. Aftercare Responsibility I have received aftercare instructions and understand that failure to follow them may result in infection or poor healing. Any touch-ups required due to negligence are at my own expense and subject to studio policy.
  6. Permanence I understand that tattoos are a permanent change to my appearance and that removal is costly and may not restore skin to its original condition.
  7. Photo & Media Release I consent to photographs or videos of my tattoo being used for portfolio, promotional, and marketing purposes unless otherwise stated in writing.
  8. No Refund Policy I understand and agree that all tattoo services, deposits, and retail sales are non-refundable.

Close detail of a hand holding a chess piece among planets, tattoo by Karan Sandhar

The artist

Karan
Sandhar

Karan works in shadow and fine detail: portraits, animals, faith pieces and script. Each tattoo is built in soft layers, dark to light, so it heals smooth and still reads from across a room.

Red appears only where it earns its place, in an eye, a flag, a cross. Everything else is shadow and skin.

Questions

How much does a piece cost?

Every piece is priced by size and time, not by a flat menu. Send the idea through the form and you’ll get an honest estimate before anything is booked.

Is there a deposit?

Yes. A deposit secures your date and comes off the price of the tattoo on the day.

Can I bring my own design?

Bring references, photos and meaning, not a finished design. Every piece is drawn for your body and placement so it sits and ages properly.

Do you tattoo in colour?

Karan’s work lives in shadow, with red only where it earns its place, like an eye, a flag or a cross. Have colour in mind? Mention it in the form.

How long does healing take?

The surface usually heals in two to three weeks, and the skin keeps settling for a while after. You’ll leave with written aftercare instructions.

Is there an age limit?

18 and over bring valid photo ID. Under 18, a parent or legal guardian must come to the consult and the session with their photo ID and sign the consent in person.
